Sentry International Warranty Terms and Conditions*

Sentry Series I pumping units have 3 years warranty on Parts and limited Labor or as specified in the contracts.

Sentry Series II pumping units have 2 years Warranty on Parts and limited Labor or as specified in the contracts.

Sentry’s warranty is limited to one year with respect to parts that are subject to wear under normal operating conditions (including, but not limited to contact type oil or grease seals, hoses, belts, wire line, etc.)

Warranty period starts from the invoice date.

Sentry must be informed on all warranty issues prior to repair so that inspections and evaluations may be done if necessary.

Sentry shall only be obligated to repair or replace the pumping unit, at Sentry’s option, free of charge, F.O.B. Sentry’s designated place of repair or replacement. Repair or replacement by Sentry shall not extend the warranty period.

The following items are required for Sentry International Warranty claims:

  • Model and Serial number of unit.
  • Detailed written report stating issue and analysis plus recommended solution. If necessary, Sentry will provide these services.
  • Sentry will review all warranty claims prior to authorizing or denying said claims.
  • Sufficient photographs showing the issue or problem in question.
  • Clear and legible invoice showing repair quote. Or after approval by Sentry, invoice showing cost of repairs, services performed and parts purchased.
  • Should you choose your own repair representative, they must warranty their work and non-consumable parts for at least two years from date of repair.

The following conditions are NOT covered by the Sentry International Warranty:

  • Modification without Sentry’s written agreement.
  • Any accident or damage caused by the foundation sinking or improperly fabricated foundation.
  • Main base fracture caused by the unsteady foundation.
  • Any failure, accident or damage caused by breach of the required installation, operation, and maintenance specified in the manufacturer’s manual.
  • Damage caused by operation in excess of overloaded condition or under minimum suspended load condition.
  • Damage caused by operation under seriously unbalanced conditions.
  • Damage arising from transport or movement of the unit of which Sentry had no part in the arrangement or organization.
  • Repairs required due to negligence on the part of the customers or their authorized representative. This includes but is not limited to improper setting of the unit, the usage of incompatible or unapproved parts and so forth.
  • Repairs arising from acts of God such as flooding, lightning strikes, earthquakes and so forth.
  • Accidental damage caused by any persons or animals.
